UNO ROCKS!
I am sorry joyce for not attending ur lian yi.. i realli wanted to go.. but i wanted to have my section gathering as well.. =( i hope it went well! and i promise next time i'll go k....
we had our first after-camp UNO gathering yesterday at my house (yup at the expense of risk of sacrificing my life-long happiness by not attending the lian yi haha).. btw, UNO refers to all the facis belonging to section one which consist of me, corinne, jiahui, youyi, mel, uni, steph, denise, yvonne, zing, janice, chun seng, jac, ron and not forgetting our section head, WeiLin.
we took a pic before we start eating.. while weilin and uni is still with us... haha can hear all the growling stomachs!!
we had lots of fun.. too bad that youyi, steph and janice couldnt make it.. haha its their greatest loses!! we had lots of stories abt the orientation and also stories abt the other sections which we din get to meet to share.. then we had ktv and steamboat and bbq.. and if u think that the food is all prepared by my mum? NO!! all prepared by me (someone who got C5 for F&N) and my dearest corinne (someone who din do F&N before) hahaha... i think the food are nice! haha i know this is abit "old wang sell gua, self sell self praise..." but i really think its quite nice haha compared to last time.. and this time i manage to work within my budget well! haha with each of us only need to pay 6 bucks! there's pork, beef, fish, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, prawns, udon, vege, cuttlefish balls, pork balls... and many more lah....

at first we wanted to play the ding dong game.. but then in the end we din get to play firstly cos no time.. and secondly its realli a game to play when everyone is in the most shagged state.. (eg like after the 3 days of camp) and so since everyone is in their most sober state.. we shall play it next time haha!
nonetheless, chun seng is still going around challenging pple with the kiddish-clapping-hands game haha...

the freshmen orientation cum LTB cum Circle experience camp is finally over.. it doesnt turn out good.. (as what i expected) and i just feel like a total failure.. due to my lousy expression skills plus my lousy bonding skills... i tink i really owe alot of my buddy faci jiahui.. without her i really dunno what to do... compare to me, she speaks well.. and since my group is one who like to challenge u with challenging questions like "if you think that this is a dangerous game, y in the first place u want to play it?", i think i will be tougue tight most of the time when i faced these questions.. i think its really been a hard time on jiahui.. and i think she's quite sway cos the fact that she knows so many pple doing the orientation (i really mean a lot.. she goes around like knowing the whole world..) and YET, she get to work with someone whom she is totally stranger of... haha!! as for me, actualli i also had quite a hard time working with her at first.. cos i realise that the 2 of us work totally different way.. she's rather strict with the freshies.. and eg, to her she feels tat during meals, they shud go and get their own drinks and we shud get our own.. but to me, i feel that as a grp we should help each other... so many times in a de-brief, whenever i have somethings to say, i would hesitate until i decided that i shud not say cos i scare will clash with hers.. i think all these is due to improper and insufficient communications bet the both of us..
well, nonetheless we really been thr alot during the 3 days.. ups and downs, laughter and tears... we hug each other, we cry together.. and of cos thanks UNO for supporting one another throughout the camp! and thanks weilin our section head.. i think she's really a marvelous counsellor.. most of the time in camp, she will observe and will come and talk to u just at the right time! and when she talk to u, she goes straight to giving u the right encouragements and comfort.. and instead of coming to ask u what problems u have, she observed and she knew exactly what problems u are facing and give u the right medicine at the right time...
i shall not dwell into the downs of the camp.. just wanna wish for those who are doing the run 2 this coming wed all the best... and that u will enjoy the camp really really well........ well and the rest will let the pictures tell u what me and my buddy been thr for the 3 days...........

:: Day 2 ::
as we will all be leaving CDANS soon.. jiahui and I decided that we shud take a pic of our tents before we leave..
this is where we slept for the previous night.. i remember its was freaking hot like an oven when we stayed there during the mock camp.. however during our actual orientation camp, the tents become freaking cold due to the rain......
and today both Jiahui and I wore the same cap!! =)

while my freshies were doing their nitro crossing i am kinda bored and took this photo... at first i find the little baby bananas are so cute.. on a closer look, i realise a big banana flower! din know that banana flower is in pink.. and so huge..
then whenever jiahui and I are suppose to do debriefs, but we din.. so we end up having alot of free time to zi pai alot of pics.. like this one here...

afterwhich we set off for our amazing race in the afternoon.. it's a 5km walk to the Chinese Gardens.. with our bags! luckily this time no need to carry our tents.. fortunate enough, my grp got one who stay in bt.batok.. so he is super familiar with this area that we are going to walk.. and we arrived in the 4th position although we are the 14th group to set off.... this is the pic we took when we arrive at CG.. love this pic super alot..finds it v nice when everyone is wearing the same t-shirt..
:: Day 3 ::
woke up early in the morning at 4.45am!! if u realise the background.. its actualli just an open space where we had our breakfast.. and coincidently, this is also our sleeping area... i think it really look like a Nan Min Ying (难民营)..
i think both of us feels super tired cos of all the sleep debts.. but since its already the last day, we felt super relieve and just looking forward to break camp...
on day 3 we did quite alot of activities.. (well tat's y we need to wake up so freaking early) but only took pic for rafting and dragon boating...
OMG.. i see the water i feel so relieve i dun need to go down.. heard from my freshie that there's even oil deposit at the river bed.. damn gross..
surprisingly, jiahui and me finish our last lunch in camp!! really finish everything sia..
actually the appearance of the food is bad.. when i look at it i really have no appetite at all.. but then dunno is it bcos i was too hungry or is that the food really taste much better than how it looks...
haha but then still got someone who cant overcome the bad appearance of their food....
